Patterned Perfection

Here is another poem from my Mother, Edna Day.

Patterned Perfection

I think of a poem
As a quilt
With an intricate pattern,
Each is accomplished
With artistic stitches
And a desire
on the part of the creator
For patterned perfection

Winter Music ©

Since it’s soooooo cold out there, I thought a poem  from my Mother’s book, Reflections, might fit the bill, today. Enjoy!!

Winter Music
Now winter spreads her velvet cloak
And streamlets ripple under glass
While crystal acorns on the oak
Tinkle with the winds that pass.
